A vintage John A. Oya hand-carved Milo wood perfume bottle. It was produced in the 1940s by the John A. Oya Company in Hawaii. The bottles often contained a fragrance called "Tropic Kiss Remembrance of Pikake". Oya was a master wood carver who sought and obtained patents for his unique designs.
The bottle is a popular Hawaiiana collectible. Unfortunately, this beautiful carving is missing the perfume insert. It remains a beautiful carved work of art on its own. I believe it could also be used as a candle holder for a pillar candle or a vase. Or simply just a beautiful work of art.
